Astonishing footage has emerged of police in the UK using a chainsaw to gain quick entry into a home.
The Cardiff Police posted footage to Twitter of an early morning drug raid in South Wales in which they opted for a chainsaw over a battering ram.

Within seconds, the saw cuts through the door, splitting it in two and allowing police to enter the home.

“Another successful entry with the rescue saw in the fight against crime in Cardiff,” the South Wales Police Specialist Operations Department tweeted.
The Telegraph reports, “South Wales Police has been using chainsaws instead of battering rams in recent months to speed up the process of breaking down doors.”
