Prosecutors say a former east Arkansas police officer took money from a drug trafficker and served as his escort in and around Phillips County, though the man was an informer for the FBI.

Federal prosecutor Julie Peters said Monday that evidence will show that former Helena-West Helena police Sgt. Marlene Kalb was a “dirty cop.”
