The New York Times, Media Matters and innumerable other outlets are brazenly lying in claiming that Alex Jones was suspended by Twitter for inciting violence against the media.

In an article entitled Twitter Suspends Alex Jones for Seven Days Over Tweet, the NY Times’ Cecilia Kang writes that Jones was suspended for a video “calling for supporters to get their “battle rifles” ready against media and others, in a violation of the company’s rules against inciting violence.”

George Soros front group Media Matters also reported that Jones told listeners “to get their “battle rifles” ready against antifa, the mainstream media, and “Chicom operatives”.

Both articles deliberately omit or avoid discussion of Jones clearly outlining that he is talking “politically and economically and judiciously and legally” moving “against these people”. Both Media Matters and the New York Times fail to explain that this is the context of the rant.

At no point does Jones urge his listeners to violently attack anyone and his only reference to the media is when Jones says, “the media is so disciplined in their deception.”

Watch Media Matters’ own clip of the dialogue above and see for yourself.

Infowars and Alex Jones oppose all forms of political violence. Jones’ rant was not a call for violence, it was a criticism of the violence routinely endorsed and practiced by far-left groups like Antifa, violence that is either ignored or lauded by the corporate media.

Meanwhile, CNN also published an article in which one of their contributors, Rafia Zakaria, asserted that Infowars was “complicit in domestic terror,” with no evidence whatsoever to back up such an incendiary claim.

They’ve truly jumped the shark.

Not satisfied with banning Infowars and Alex Jones from the Internet, they’re now treating him like a terrorist hate preacher who should be imprisoned.
