SAN ANTONIO — A new report is taking aim at the Texas-Mexico border. The study was commissioned by the Texas Department of Agriculture and calls the border more dangerous than ever.
Todd Staples, Texas Commissioner of Agriculture, said Americans need to wake up and face a growing crisis.
“This is a drug war on America. Texas happens to be the front line,” Staples said in a phone interview with KSAT-12.
A study authored by two high-profile former generals made bold claims about the lack of security along the border.
