From the Huffington Post: Bloomberg, a co-founder of the coalition Mayors Against Illegal Guns, told reporters at a press event outside the Capitol. “Our coalition strongly believes in the Second Amendment. We also know from experience that we can keep guns away from dangerous people without imposing burdens on law-abiding gun owners.”
COMMENT: From his actions here, and from his position as Mayor of the largest city with an almost complete gun ban, it is clear that Michael Bloomberg does not believe in the Second Amendment. Who is he to ‘scold’ Americans for refusing to let their 2nd Amendment be chipped away?

Mayor Bloomberg scolded the nation Tuesday for failing to take on the gun lobby to restrict weapons sales.
“This is just no courage on the part of Americans to stand up and say ‘Enough,'” Bloomberg said while joining members of Congress who support closing loopholes that allow criminals, drug abusers and the mentally ill to buy guns.
Legislation they proposed would strengthen reporting requirements on the National Instant Criminal Background Check system and impose penalties on states that fail to comply.
