The story of former Waldwick Police Officer John Robert Marion – who drew a 364-day jail sentence for stealing more than $321,000 in disability pension payments – garnered plenty of reaction from people, some of whom believe the punishment was too light.
Some folks believe that in addition to jail, Marion should have to pay the money back.

Abuse of the system will cause it to collapse. It will only be when the good PW employees demand that the system be changed to reduce waste, fraud and abuse that they system will be saved from being destroyed. This includes double and triple dippers, sick and vacation abuse, disability claim abuse etc.
