“If they continue with their actions and refuse to return from their wrong path they have taken, the judiciary will seriously deal with them,” Tehran Prosecutor Abbas Jafari-Dolatabadi said on Friday.
He condemned those masterminding the rioting and violent street protests following the presidential election in 2009 and described it as a move against Iran’s security.
Jafari-Dolatabadi also highlighted the severe punishment considered in the Islamic penal code for those who attempt to undermine stability and security.
