Recently, Denver’s KUSA-TV sent a reporter to Laredo, Texas to observe the deportation process for illegal aliens being sent back home to Mexico by bus from the South Texas Detention Complex in Pearsall.

The reporter, Will Ripley, went along with 22 Mexican nationals for the two hour bus ride to the Gateway International Bridge.

During their ride, Ripley spoke to Noe Mendoza, 28, a blunt speaking man who basically summed-up this country’s immigration enforcement policy (or the lack thereof) simply by telling his own story.

As Mendoza headed south, he said: “I know one of these days I’ll come back real soon…I crossed the river – illegal, you know? Like all Mexicans come to America.”
