Rep. Trey Gowdy, the former chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, said that Hillary Clinton’s team did such a good job use scrubbing her email server that “even God can’t read them.”

The South Carolina Republican said that her lawyers’ use of BleachBit to “prevent recovery” of the more than 30,000 emails undermines her claim that they were innocuous, purely personal messages pertaining to yoga routines and her daughter’s wedding.

During an appearance on CNN Wednesday, the former secretary of state refuted an Associated Press claim that half of the non-government people she met with were large donors to the Clinton Foundation.

“I know there’s a lot of smoke [in the AP report],” she told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “But there’s no fire.”

Gowdy disagreed. It’s not just fire, “it’s arson—it’s pyromania,” Gowdy told Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum on “America’s Newsroom” Thuesday.
