In an excruciatingly embarrassing exchange with MSNBC anchors, Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson asked “What is Aleppo?” when discussing the Syrian refugee crisis. Video of the interview has gone viral with critics saying Johnson is done and must now drop out of the race to save face.

Johnson looked absolutely stumped when asked “What would you do about Aleppo?” by Panelist Mike Barnicle.
“You’re kidding,” replied Barnicle after Johnson asked him to explain what Aleppo is.
“OK, got it got” a clearly crushed Johnson said after Barnicle explained that it is the epicenter of the Syrian refugee crisis.
Johnson later attempted some pathetic damage control, stating “I do understand Aleppo, and I understand the crisis that is going on.”
“This morning, I began my day by setting aside any doubt that I’m human. Yes, I understand the dynamics of the Syrian conflict — I talk about them every day,” Johnson said in a statement. “But hit with ‘What about Aleppo?’ I immediately was thinking about an acronym, not the Syrian conflict. I blanked. It happens, and it will happen again during the course of this campaign.”
“I feel horrible,” Johnson told Mark Halperin of Bloomberg Politics. “I have to get smarter, and that’s just part of the process.”
But it is too late. For a third tier Presidential candidate asking to be involved in debates on foreign policy, this is fatal.
Hillary Clinton addressed Johnson’s mess up in her latest ‘press conference’, saying “Well, you can look at the map and find Aleppo.”
Aleppo has been trending all day on Twitter, along with calls for Johnson to quit:

Painfully aloof. https://t.co/PuXupWKI1A

Seriously, Gary Johnson should drop out today. You can’t be that unqualified & uneducated & also impacting the race.

This is bad. You cannot be running for president right now and not know what/where Aleppo is. https://t.co/o4nEqjdUyq via @msnbc

Here, I liken Gary Johnson to the Titanic, if the Titanic had blown up while it was sinking. https://t.co/ypBDK6XdD1

Wow, strong defense there Gary.
Earlier this week Infowars warned that Johnson was not a viable Presidential contender:

Although he has zero chance of winning, Johnson could have taken enough votes away from Trump in key states to ensure a Hillary Clinton victory.
Johnson, who calls himself an advocate of small government, also has highly questionable ‘libertarian’ principles.
He wants to give the government the power to forcibly inject your children at gunpoint if necessary.
He also wants to implement a massive government carbon taxing scheme enforced by a gigantic, onerous centralized bureaucracy,
He even wants to give the government the power to shut down bakeries that refuse to make gay wedding cakes, violating his own Libertarian Party’s platform.
Johnson has also pledged support to black lives matter, a group whose public platform has all the specific hallmarks of marxism – the exact opposite of libertarianism.
Johnson supports the TPP, a globalist trade deal that even Hillary had to back away from. TPP is not just big government, it’s global government – on steroids.
As Governor of New Mexico, Johnson, the so-called fiscal libertarian, inherited a debt of $1.8 billion and left a debt of $4.6 billion.
None of these policies are libertarian.
Gary Johnson isn’t a libertarian – he’s a social justice warrior posing as a libertarian, He’s a phony, and now he should definitely quit.
