Syrian Girl Mimi Al-Lahan talks about the UN “Humanitarian Intervention.”
Commenting on Anne-Marie Slaughter’s statements that the solution to the Ukraine crisis “lies in part in Syria,” Syrian Girl said, “I think it’s really a window into how U.S. government policy makers think and she was the head director of policy at the State Department.
“Specifically she was suggesting to use the humanitarian relief resolution that was supposed to pressure both sides to break the sieges on the cities they were holding, so both the Syrian government and the insurgents, or Al Qaeda terrorists, have been using siege tactics on the cities that the other person controls..”
