The FBI says they believe that a gunman who has fired at Washington-area military facilities four times in the past month has a “deep grievance” and feels he has been wronged by the Marine Corps.
FBI officials spoke after a shooting incident overnight in which the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Virginia was fired upon for the second time in four weeks.
They say the shots, which caused no injuries, were apparently fired from a vehicle on nearby I-95.
Authorities have already determined that the same weapon was used in three previous shooting incidents in the Washington area.
