Imam Ibrahim Rahim says his brother was killed in cold blood by police and the FBI today in Boston.

The older brother says Usaama Rahim was on his way to work when confronted by Boston police officers and at least one FBI agent. Rahim was said to be under investigation the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force.

Police say the suspect produced a knife and charged prior to being fatally shot by an FBI agent and a BPD officer.

Boston Police Commissioner William Evans told the media Rahim had “refused orders” to drop the knife.

News reports described the weapon as a machete, although photographs reveal weapon to be a knife.

“He was on foot, under surveillance,” Evans said. “The officers have been surveilling him and again they wanted to speak to him … and he turned and our officers gave several commands for him to drop the weapon and unfortunately he came at the officers and they did what they were trained to do and that’s never an easy decision for any officer to make.”

Media Propaganda to Cover FBI Execution

Dustin Craun, the editor of Ummah Wide, a Medium web page dedicated to Muslim and interfaith issues, accused the corporate media of propagandizing the FBI narrative.

Usaama Rahim was murdered this morning by the Boston PD (The brother of Oakland’s Lighthouse Mosque Imam Ibrahim Rahim) and instantly the media recycles the FBI narrative that he was under investigation as a “terror-suspect.” The FBI would say that and has said that about any American Muslim they murder because we are all ‘under surveillance.’

Carol Anne Grayson quotes Linda Sarsour, the Executive Director of the Arab-American Association, who notes a number of unanswered questions in the case.

Graysson says that according to the Rahim family, Usaama “was shot 3 times in the back while on a bus stop going to work. He was on the phone with his father who heard the shots.”

“Law enforcement says he was brandishing a military knife and came towards them. If its true that he was shot in the back, then this makes no sense,” Grayson notes.

“If he was on the phone with his father, was it handheld, headset? Were his hands even free?”

Will Surveillance Video Be Made Public?

The Boston Herald reports “police officers have swarmed” a nearby “small shopping plaza and officers are seeking surveillance video from a nearby Dunkin’ Donuts, employees said.”

If police indeed discover video of the shooting and it is not shown to the media — as the video purportedly showing the alleged Boston bombers placing a bomb at the Boston Marathon was not shown to the media or the public — the narrative offered by the FBI and the Boston Police should be immediately considered suspect.

The shooting follows a decision by the FBI to put “marginal” terror suspects under continual surveillance in the wake of the attack on a “Draw Muhammad” competition in Texas.

Ibragim Todashev, a Chechen man associated with Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed by the FBI in 2013. The man’s father, Abdulbaki Todashev, said his son was executed during an interrogation.

“Why was he interrogated three times without a lawyer? Why no recording? Why seven shots? And why should I believe their version? Why do American policemen believe they can do whatever they want?” said Chechen lawyer Zaurbek Sadakhanov.
