Economist Martin Armstrong warns that the political class are risking “civil war” in America if they push forward with an effort to overthrow President Donald Trump.
Armstrong is known for successfully predicting the 1987 Black Monday crash as well as the 1998 Russian financial collapse.
Writing of a “very REAL plot to overthrow Trump led by the political establishment and aided by the mainstream press,” Armstrong says the elite has miscalculated in thinking the rise of populism is over because of Emmanuel Macron’s victory “so it’s time to get rid of Trump and it will all be OK again.”
Armstrong points the finger firmly at Republican insiders like John Bohner, Lindsey Graham and John McCain as being the leading forces behind the effort to de-legitimize Trump, cautioning “the Republicans have lost it.”
The mirrors the statement from a that we reported on from an unnamed ranking Republican who told a private gathering earlier this month that, “The object of the coup was not impeachment, but the recruitment of a critical mass of Republican senators and congressmen to the claim that Trump was “unfit” for office and to force his resignation.”
According to Armstrong, the media’s obsession with Russian collusion is part of a coordinated conspiracy to remove Trump from office.
The move is “highly dangerous” and risks a “move toward civil war,” he adds, noting, “Our model also warns that that United States can break up as a result of this by 2032-2040.”
As we document in the video below, nationwide demonstrations on July 2nd led by far left groups could easily spill over into violence given the rhetoric that these organizations are espousing about their desire to “overthrow Trump”.
