There had been an 11 point difference in pre-election polls showing right-wing and anti-European Union/migrant Austrian Freedom Party candidate Norbert Hofer comfortably ahead of his presidential election run-off rival Alexander van der Bellen, a Green Party candidate running as an independent.
The election was the closest in Austrian history and the outcome was decided where election fraud always seems to occur: the counting of absentee ballots. It was the absentee ballots that shot van der Bellen ahead of Hofer in capturing 50.3 percent to Hofer’s 49.7 percent of the vote. Significant questions about George Soros-style election flipping have arisen in Austria. For example, one Austrian town had a 149.6 percent turnout. Soros-financed “civil society” groups claim to be upholding the principles of democracy, when, in fact, they train provocateurs and activists to upend elections, as well as duly-elected governments. And many of Europe’s Greens, people like van der Bellen, are mere pro-EU and pro-austerity spoilers for Soros and his global banking and investment colleagues.
However, something far more sinister than election malfeasance may have been at play in Austria before the presidential election run-off. At about 3:00 am on Sunday morning,May 22, election day in Austria, a shooting incident in the small Alpine town of Nenzing, not far from the Liechtenstein border, made national news. A local motorcycle gang called “The Lords” remained at an outdoor concert when a man, said to have gotten into an argument with his girlfriend, opened fire with 30 rounds on a crowd of about 150 people who were still at the concert. The shooter used a modified Kalashnikov, an assault weapon known as the Zastava M92. Two people were killed and 10 wounded before the shooter, identified as “Gregor S” by the police, turned the weapon on himself.
Some voters went to the polls that Sunday morning with the belief that the assailant, a member of the neo-Nazi motorcycle gang “Blood and Honor,” was somehow connected with presidential candidate Hofer. After he participated in a 2005 attack on a punk rock concert, Gregor S was prohibited from carrying any weapon. Gregor S was also declared a psychotic by state medical authorities. Gregor S. faded from the public view — until election morning in Austria.
After the shooting, police “conveniently” discovered neo-Nazi literature, as well as grenades and standard military ammunition, in Gregor S’s home. Where did the shooter, barred from owning any weapon, get the gun and ammunition?
The Nenzing shooting had all the signs of a Gladio-style false flag operation. Although Gladio was a CIA/NATO Cold War creation — a program to leave weapons and ammunition scattered throughout Western Europe for the use by paramilitary “stay behind” personnel to engage in sabotage against a Soviet invasion force — elements of the network are very much alive today. If there was a Western psychological warfare operation designed to plant the seed in the minds of Austrian voters of a link between the Nenzing shooting and the right-wing Hofer certainly paid off. Van der Bellen made up 11 points in pre-election polls to narrowly defeat Hofer in a razor-thin election. Austrian supporters of Hofer certainly have a good case when it comes to questioning the validity of the presidential election.
