The Homeland Security Department awarded a contract worth as much as $460 million to Unisys Corp. to enhance border security management systems for the Customs and Border Protection directorate.
Unisys is expecting to improve existing and develop new border-management systems under the single-award indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract that includes a one-year base period and four one-year options, according to a July 19 Unisys press release.
The objective of the work is to establish operation maintenance and systems development to support BEMS’ services.
