Democrats bankrupting the country and continuing Bush’s war legacy are the adults while John Boehner and the Republicans are crybaby toddlers – or so a Democrat super PAC insists in a new video.
The 40 second spot was released on Friday and will air in Boehner’s Ohio district. It will also air Sunday during an NFL football game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots.
It is unlikely the ad will have any effect on Boehner’s long-running political career. He is a twelve term Republican who won re-election last year with 99 percent of the vote. His district can be counted to vote consistently for establishment Republicans. During the last election, Mitt Romney pulled in 62 percent of the vote in Boehner’s district.
The Dem PAC will clunk down six figures to make hay off the shutdown pinned on House Republicans. Reps. Gary G. Miller of California, Mike Coffman of Colorado, Rodney Davis of Illinois, Michael G. Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania and Michael G. Grimm of New York and others will be targeted in the propaganda campaign.
