Police in Ferguson, Missouri, are looking at the “legalities” of allowing Oath Keepers to participate in demonstrations, a St. Louis County deputy told Infowars.

“As we speak right now our department and our senior commanders and officials are in talks with St. Louis County prosecuting attorney and the St. louis county counselor to find out the actual legalities of them being down here,” a Sheriff’s deputy commented regarding the organization which arrived to protect businesses from looting.

“Once we get that we’re gonna be issuing a statement on that.”

Interestingly, the officer went on to reveal that he had received three times as many questions about the Oath Keepers than the actual shooters who opened fire during the protest Sunday.

As reporter Joe Biggs explains, earlier reports which claimed Infowars hired the organization for protection were false.
