U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers put on a clinic for local Mexican Authorities from Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico to assist them in the application of newly acquired high-tech tools.

[efoods]Mexican authorities have stepped up their efforts in their fight against terrorism and organized crime. They are receiving high-tech tools that will assist them in their efforts to detect contraband being imported or exported out of their country. To assist them in their efforts, CBP Douglas Port of Entry held a clinic to assist them in their search techniques and application of their high-tech tools.

“U.S. Customs and Border Protection foments partnerships with many Law enforcement Agencies” said Jose Lopez, Supervisor for Passenger Processing and Liaison with local Mexican Law Enforcement Authorities “these partnerships are an integral part in securing our nation’s borders.
