Boston marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has regained his voice and made an emotional, six-minute phone call to his mother in Russia on Tuesday.

Her only surviving son sounded “normal” and promised to call her back once a month, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva told Bloomberg News from her home in Russia’s Dagestan region.
