A border patrol agent is sent to the hospital after being attacked by an undocumented immigrant.
Authorities say the incident happened over the weekend in the area of Encino, near the Falfurrias checkpoint, when an agent tried apprehending a group of immigrants and was punched in his face repeatedly, breaking his nose.
“The agent did go to the hospital. He was released he has not checked back into duty yet.”
