Mayor Bloomberg made a vow Monday to the heartbroken father of the 11-year-old girl paralyzed by a stray bullet — he will do anything he can to fight gun violence.
“I promised the father I would not flag in my desire to get guns out of the hands of minors and people with criminal records,” Bloomberg told reporters.
“You have a right to live in Bed-Stuy and not have bullets whiz past your head.”
