On Monday, former president Bill Clinton defended Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s 2001 decision to grant in-state tuition to illegal aliens in the Lone Star state.

During an interview USA Today, Clinton said that move was “one of the best things he did.”

Clinton also said Perry’s critics “make his skin crawl.”

He continued: “What would they like? Would they like the kid to stand on a corner and sell dope or something?”
