A woman is dead after an officer-involved shooting early Thursday morning on the streets of Santa Fe.

This all began when a New Mexico State Police officer allegedly spotted a car driving erratically around 1:14 a.m., and from there, things unfolded quickly.
State police say Anaya, the driver, did not stop and a pursuit began. Five minutes later, shots rang out near Herb Martinez Park on Caminos Carlos Rey, where the chase ended. [39-year-old Jeanette] Anaya was killed.
