Hollywood film actor James Woods slammed President Obama today in a torrent of tweets which dismantle Obama’s rhetoric.

Woods stated the obvious:

Partial, indeed.

As reported yesterday by Paul Joseph Watson, the vast majority of federal activity will continue as normal regardless of the government “shutdown.”

“The most damaging consequence of a government shutdown will be that non-essential federal employees will be furloughed (given temporary unpaid leave) and see their paychecks delayed,” he wrote. “That’s a bummer if you work for the government, but it’s hardly a doomsday scenario.”

Ron Paul also indicated that the government shutdown isn’t catastrophic.

“Despite all the hand-wringing heard in DC, a short-term government shutdown (which doesn’t actually shut down the government) will not cause the country to collapse,” he wrote over the weekend.

He is right, although unfortunately, unconstitutional abuses will continue as the government is “shut down.”

According to a report by the Department of Homeland Security, over 93% of the nearly 60,000 Transportation Security Agency workers are “exempt” from the government shutdown.

DHS won’t stop TSA screeners from groping passengers during the shutdown because the department determined that “imminent danger to life or property would result from their termination.”

The shutdown also did not close the National Security Agency’s $2 billion spy center in Utah.

“The facility is expected this fall to quietly begin sucking in massive amounts of information for the intelligence community and storing it in the cavernous buildings in Bluffdale, Utah, according to NSA officials — and it could be open now even as the agency faces scrutiny over efforts to collect data on Americans domestically,” reported Thomas Burr with the Salt Lake Tribune.

Additionally, the threat of the shutdown did not prevent Washington from awarding federal grants to local police departments in Roberta, Georgia, Statesville, North Carolina, Auburn, Washington and Augusta, Maine.

Grants such as these will transform local police into a domestic army and a federal presence in small town America.

Even during a shutdown, the federal government will expand and consume, pushing the American people onto the high road of servitude.
