THE LATEST: The evidence has been presented in the preliminary hearing for two Fullerton police officers accused of killing transient Kelly Thomas.
Closing arguments will be made at 10:20 this morning. Then Judge Walter Schwarm will decide if the case goes to a jury.
Defense attroneys have asked the judge to take into consideration portions of the Fullerton Police Department training manual that pertain to use of force.
