Hurricane Michael has slammed into the Florida Gulf coast with catastrophic results.

The storm made landfall with category 4 winds of 155 MPH, and currently has maximum sustained winds of 125 MPH.

Hurricane Michael is the biggest storm to hit the region ever recorded and is “the strongest hurricane to make landfall in the continental U.S. since Andrew (1992),” according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
