The 2018 midterm elections will yield worse results for the Democrats than the 2016 presidential election, according to former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.

“The more vicious you are, the more your friends celebrate you,” Gingrich said on Hannity Monday, referring to the Democrats. “This election this fall is about two Americas. One America thinks that bullying you in a restaurant, bullying you in an elevator, harassing you, destroying you, smearing you, shaming you in front of your family is fine because they’re morally pure.”

“I’m gonna go out on a limb here. I think election night this year will be worse for liberals than 2016. I think they’re in the state of shock.”

The former House Speaker noted that California’s far-left social policies are drawing in even more illegal aliens to the U.S., and the American people will reject that.

“But when the word goes out across the planet, go to California and get free health care, every person who gets sick on the planet is going to be told, get to California, they want to take care of you. Those kind of policies are so unsustainable.”

Gingrich then pointed to the recent special congressional election runoff in Texas’ 19th District, where the district not only flipped Republican for the first time in 139 years, but that the border district is also majority Hispanic.

“The most important recent indicator – which the lead media doesn’t want to look at – is we won a seat in south Texas we’ve not had in 139 years, it’s 63% Hispanic, and the minute they learned that the Democrats favored taxpayer-paid abortion, they just left. They said ‘we’re not with you.'”

The midterm elections will take place November 6th – 34 days away.
