Hip-hop musician Kanye West was seen hanging out with conservative commentator Candace Owens over the weekend, days after he melted the internet with his overt support of President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted the photo Monday, commenting that his “pals” Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, and Owens meeting West “should be interesting.”

West caused controversy last Saturday when he tweeted that he loves the way Owens thinks. The outspoken conservative firebrand, AKA RedPillBlack, claims black people are brainwashed by the liberal establishment to vote Democrat.

West then caused major reverberations when he tweeted out a photo wearing the president’s trademark red baseball cap.

On Saturday President Trump also praised Kanye during a speaking event in Washington, Michigan.

“And by the way, in all fairness, Kanye West gets it. He gets it. And he saw that,” Trump said. “When he sees that African-American unemployment is the lowest in history, you know, people are watching. That is a very important thing he has done for his legacy. It’s a very important thing. But Hispanic unemployment, lowest level in history. Women, female unemployment, lowest level in 18 years. And wages are going up for the first time in many, many years.”
