A Southwest Airlines flight was forced to land in Nashville Wednesday morning shortly after takeoff after experiencing a bird strike.
The incident comes a day after a Southwest Airlines plane engine exploded, killing a passenger.
Flight 577 departed from Nashville International Airport to Phoenix, but was forced to turn around 24 minutes later. The plane landed safely back in Nashville and was “taken out of service for maintenance review,” FOX 17 Nashville reported. Nobody was injured during the forced landing.
