Nationally renowned law enforcement official Sheriff David Clarke will be joining the Trump administration as an assistant secretary in the Department of Homeland Security.

Clarke made the announcement on The Vicki McKenna Show, a conservative talk radio program out of Wisconsin.

Confirmed in an exclusive interview on my show, @SheriffClarke will leave his position as Milwaukee County Sheriff for a position at DHS.

Clarke says he’ll be a multi-agency and local law enforcement liaison who hopes to fill the gaps between local law enforcement needs, local and federal intel and the federal government.
