In an awkward exchange, an ABC reporter fawned over Hillary Clinton but also asked her if she would be willing to take a neurocognitive test. Clinton laughed off the suggestion and declared that “there’s no need for that.”
“You know, I, I am very sorry that I got pneumonia.” Clinton said after her rather strange exaggerated outburst of laughter.
“I’m very glad that antibiotics took care of it and uh, that’s behind us now. I’ve met the standard that everybody running for president has met in terms of releasing information about my health.” she claimed.
“I have to say my opponent has not met that standard. So I am very happy that we have put out all the information that there is, that reflects on my health and I am physically, mentally healthy and fit to be president of the United States.” Clinton added.
When the reporter, Sarina Fazan, asked Clinton a second time if she’d be willing to take the neurological tests, Hillary sternly replied “There’s no need for that. I mean, my, the information is very clear and the information as I said meets the standards that every other person running for president has ever had to meet and I’m happy that we’ve met and even exceeded them in certain ways.”
The neurocognitive tests Fazan was referring to are recommended for people over 65 in order to detect early signs of dementia and Alzheimer’s. Given that Hillary has a history of falls, fainting and head trauma, it is almost certain that such tests would be routinely recommended to someone of her age and with her past medical episodes.
She has also been taking antibiotics which are known to cause severe psychiatric problems in some cases.
Yet Hillary seems to find the suggestion of her undergoing neuro tests amusing or ludicrous.
The medical records Clinton has released consist of letters from her own personal physician claiming she is in good health. Donald Trump has released the same kind of letter, yet Hillary continues to claim that he has not been as transparent as her on the matter.
Referring to Clinton’s health again this morning, Trump said “We’ll see what’s going on with her,” at the upcoming debate.
“Because there’s something going on that a lot of people are trying to figure out.” he added.

Trump also responded to Clinton’s admission that she is surprised she isn’t way ahead of the GOP nominee in national polls. “‘Why aren’t I 50 points ahead?” Clinton exclaimed during a rally Wednesday.
“Because she is terrible” Trump said, adding “Everything she touches turns bad.”

Trump promised he would be “very respectful” of Clinton during the debate.
“I think she deserves that. I’m going to be nice. If she’s respectful of me, that’ll be nice. We’ll have something I think people will respect as a debate.”
