GOP nominee Donald Trump has doubled down on his charge that Barack Obama “is the founder of ISIS,” saying he literally means the President is responsible for starting the Terror group.
Trump made the comments in a speech last night in Florida, saying “ISIS is honoring President Obama,” and , adding that “He is the founder of ISIS. He founded ISIS.”
He did not spare Hillary either: “I would say the co-founder would be ‘Crooked’ Hillary Clinton,” Trump added.

In an appearance Thursday on Radio host Hugh Hewitt’s show, Trump reiterated the comments and said he really meant them.
“Last night, you said the president was the founder of ISIS. I know what you meant. You meant that he created the vacuum, he lost the peace,” Hewitt said.
“No, I meant he’s the founder of ISIS. I do,” Trump replied. “He was the most valuable player. I give him the most valuable player award. I give her, too, by the way, Hillary Clinton.”
Hewitt responded, “But he’s not sympathetic to them. He hates them. He’s trying to kill them.”
“I don’t care,” Trump shot back. “He was the founder. His — the way he got out of Iraq was that that was the founding of ISIS, okay?””
Trump said the same thing in an interview with CNBC, when he was asked “Do you think it’s appropriate to call the sitting president of the United States the founder of a terrorist organization that wants to kill Americans?”
“He was the founder of ISIS, absolutely,” Trump answered.

“Why, is there something wrong with saying that? Are people complaining that I said he was the founder of ISIS?” Trump said.
During last night’s speech, Trump said that Obama’s decision to pull troops out of the middle east left a void that ISIS took advantage of.
“We should never have gotten out the way we got out,” he said. “We unleashed terrible fury all over the Middle East.”
“Instead of allowing some small forces behind to maybe, just maybe, keep it under control, we pulled it out,” the GOP’s presidential nominee added.
“Then Obama came in, and normally you want to clean up and he made a bigger mess. We’re not respected. We’re laughed at all over the world.”
Last week Trump also called Clinton the “founder of ISIS” and said “she should get an award from them.”
