GOP nominee Donald Trump hit out at the Black Lives Matter movement Tuesday, saying that the group is only creating more division between people.

“I would say they’re dividing America,” Trump said during an appearance on “The O’Reilly Factor.”

“I saw what they said about the police in various marches and rallies, I’ve seen moments of silence called for this horrible human being who shot the policemen,” Trump added.

“And I’ve seen it and I think it’s certainly, it’s very divisive and I think they’re hurting themselves.” Trumped urged.

Referring specifically to the phrase “black lives matter” Trump described it as “very divisive.”

“The first time I heard it, I said ‘You have to be kidding,'” he said.

“I think it’s a very, very, very divisive term. There’s no question about it.”

Trump described the shootings of two black men by police last week as “terrible,” and “disgusting,” adding that “Both of them were very, very sad.”

“Maybe that’s lack of training, maybe it’s bad people, I don’t know, it’s such a sad thing.” Trump stated.

While he acknowledged that there could be a racism problem with some police, Trump for the whole defended policing.

“The problem with two instances like this, which I think were terrible, but they get broadcast on television and they don’t show all of the good work that the police does,” Trump said, adding “I’m a big fan of the police in this country.”

More potential problems between protesters and police could arise next week as so called ‘Day Of Rage’ protests are planned in multiple American cities on Friday, July 15th.

The protests are being pushed for by individuals claiming they are with the hacktivist group Anonymous.

list of cities and locations is being passed around on message boards and social media.

A video, posted to YouTube, but not the official Anonymous channel, promotes the planned protests:
