An official petition to the White House asking the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement to be formally recognised as a terrorist entity has garnered 85,000 plus signatures at time of writing, meaning it will almost certainly have to be addressed by the Obama administration.
The petition, hosted on the whitehouse.gov website, was created one day before the attack on police in Dallas, but has picked up steam in its wake.
The blurb of the petition states:
Terrorism is defined as “the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims”. This definition is the same definition used to declare ISIS and other groups, as terrorist organizations. Black Lives Matter has earned this title due to its actions in Ferguson, Baltimore, and even at a Bernie Sanders rally, as well as all over the United States and Canada. It is time for the pentagon to be consistent in its actions – and just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare Black Lives Matter a terror group – on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety.
Petitions on the White House website need to reach 100,000 signatures in order to receive an official response. Consequently, at time of writing, only around 13,000 more are needed for this to happen.
Of course, it is patently obvious that the Obama administration will not even consider publicly labeling any self described member of ‘Black Lives Matter’ as a terrorist or radical. Hell, the President will not even acknowledge ISIS as a Muslim extremist group.
Already, figures within the government have refrained from connecting the shooting in Dallas, in which five police officers were murdered, with the Black Lives Matter movement, despite the fact it occurred at one of their rallies, and that the shooter identified as a member of black power groups.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Jeh Johnson went as far as declining to define the massacre a hate crime, and said that it is not reflective of movements like Black Lives Matter.
“At a time like this when tensions are high, in the wake of events in Dallas and Baton Rouge and Minnesota and elsewhere, it’s important to remember that just as the shooter on Thursday night is not reflective of the broader movement to bring about change in police practices that any police officer who engages in excessive force is not representative of the larger law enforcement community, which with increasing frequency, reflects the community at large,” Johnson said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“We do not see any affiliation with any international terrorist organization like ISIL or al Qaeda, but the investigation does continue,” he also said on “Fox News Sunday.”
Details also emerged Sunday that suggest Micah Xavier Johnson was planning a larger attack, involving explosives.

Speaking Sunday, Obama also said that the actions of the shooter were not representative of Black Lives Matter, and urged the protesters to maintain a “respectful, thoughtful tone”.
“I would just say that everybody who’s concerned about the issue of police shootings or racial bias in the criminal justice system, that maintaining a truthful and serious and respectful tone is going to help mobilize American society to bring about real change. And that is our ultimate objective,” Obama said at a press conference in Madrid, Spain where he is visiting dignitaries.
Obama also said he hoped “that police organizations are also respectful of the frustrations that the people in these communities feel. And not just dismiss these protests and these complaints as political correctness or as politics or attacks on police. There are legitimate issues that have been raised. And there is data and evidence to back up the concerns that are being expressed.”
Obama will visit Dallas on Tuesday, and make remarks at a memorial service.

As Infowars notes in another featured article this morning, the notion that ‘Black Lives Matter’ is a peaceful protest group, as disseminated by the media and the government, is a huge misnomer.
There are countless instances of the group promoting and engaging in violence against innocent people, and criminal activity.
