A new poll conducted by NBC News and The Wall Street Journal has found that voters most associate Hillary Clinton with the words “liar,” “not trustworthy,” and “scandals”.

Americans were asked to give a word or a short phrase that they think best describes Hillary.

The resulting word cloud contained mostly negative words, even including words like ‘sick’ and ‘nauseated’.

The poll also found that only 19 percent of voters believe Clinton is ‘honest and straightforward’.

“19 percent of voters say they consider Hillary Clinton honest and straightforward,” noted MSNBC anchor Steve Kornacki. “Now look, the number is not exactly great for Donald Trump, 35 percent. Normally you’d say that’s a pretty bad number for a politician, but it’s almost twice the number Hillary Clinton faces right now … This has been a huge obstacle for her in this campaign, the honest and trustworthy question.”

In a separate ABC-News Washington Post poll, approximately 53 percent of voters said that they had an unfavorable opinion of Clinton.

Another recent poll, by the New York Times, found that Sixty-four percent of registered voters do not see Hillary as honest and trustworthy.

The report notes that the prime reason for voters not trusting Hillary is the email scandal.

These findings dovetail with the release of the State Department Inspector General’s reporton Hillary’s email, which reveals that although Clinton handed over 55,000 pages of emails, she did not provide any emails from the first few months of her tenure as secretary of state.

The report also declares that Hillary’s top aides Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills refused to cooperate with the State Department’s investigation.

Clinton also failed to report multiple attempts to hack her personal email account, according to the report.

The report also noted that at no point did Hillary request permission or have permission granted to conduct government business on her private server, “even though they say she had an obligation to do so.”

Hillary has repeatedly claimed that the department had knowledge of her use of a private server, and that it granted her permission to do so.

“There’s the problem for Hillary Clinton with the email issue right now.” said MSNBC anchor Kornacki

“Her line for the past year has been the State Department allowed [her to use a private email server]; this has been confirmed by the State Department; they approved this,” Kornacki said. “Well, this new report, this inspector general’s report from the State Department, says Hillary Clinton did not seek approval from the State Department to have her own private email server to conduct official business on and that the State Department would not have approved it if she sought it.”
