Eagles of Death Metal singer Jesse Hughes, who was playing at the Bataclan Theatre when it was targeted by ISIS jihadists, claims in a new interview that he saw Muslims celebrating in the streets after the Paris massacre.
“A day after, at the stadium, Muslims booed the moment of silence and we barely heard about it in the press,” Hughes told Taki Magazine, referring to Turkish soccer fans who jeered during a minute’s silence for the victims.
“I saw Muslims celebrating in the street during the attack. I saw it with my own eyes. In real time! How did they know what was going on? There must have been coordination,” said the singer.
Hughes also re-iterated his claim that Muslim security guards who were working at the Bataclan Theatre on the night of the attack were complicit in the massacre.
“There’s no denying the terrorists were already inside, and they had to get in somehow. During the shooting I went outside and the backstage door was propped open. How did that happen?”, said Hughes, adding that he saw Salah Abdeslam staring at his friend earlier in the day inside the theatre.
“There were two girls who were involved. They were at the venue and vanished before the shooting, and these women were in traditional Muslim garb. They knew people wouldn’t check them because of the way they were dressed. They got caught a few days later,” added Hughes.
This is by no means the first time that so-called “moderate” Muslims have been seen celebrating attacks carried out by jihadists.
Belgium’s Vice-Prime Minister Jan Jambon admitted that “street celebrations broke out in several places” after the March 22 bombings in Brussels that killed 35 people.
A Belgian teacher who also claimed that he was told about Muslim school children celebrating the attack was later visited by police.
Last November, Donald Trump was attacked by the media for his supposedly false assertion that Muslims in New Jersey celebrated the 9/11 attacks, although New Jersey residents later went public to confirm the claim.
Hughes’ comments are even more noteworthy given the fact that he was previously forced to apologize for relating what he witnessed, issuing a statement that said his claims about Bataclan security guards being in on the attack were “unfounded and baseless”.
However, it appears as though Hughes has dispensed with concerns over being politically correct and re-affirmed his original experience of what unfolded during the massacre.
Indeed, Hughes blames political correctness for people inside Brussels airport not being alert to the presence of suicide bombers in their midst.
“Look at the guys who bombed Brussels. They were wearing black gloves on one hand. Their luggage was too heavy to lift, but they didn’t want anyone helping them with it. Nobody brought any of this up until after the bombs went off.”
