The Twitter community exploded Tuesday with many calling President Barack Obama out after two terror attacks hit the densely Muslim populated city of Brussels, Belgium.
Numerous tweets excoriated the president and Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders for their previously stated beliefs that “climate change,” not terrorism, poses a greater risk to humans.

“No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change,” Obama said at his State of the Union address in January of last year.
And in an upcoming edition of The Atlantic, Obama goes further, claiming man made “global warming” poses a greater threat to the US than ISIS.
“ISIS is not an existential threat to the United States,” the president says. “Climate change is a potential existential threat to the entire world if we don’t do something about it.”
The absurd disconnect with reality was not lost on Twitter users, who were quick to blast the president for his ludicrous statements.
'Climate Change' has reared its ugly head again in Brussels. Amazing insanity.

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, while campaigning last year, also held firm on his position that terrorism is linked to climate change following the Bataclan attacks in Paris.
“Absolutely. In fact, climate change is directly related to the growth of terrorism and if we do not get our act together and listen to what the scientists say, you’re going to see countries all over the world,” Sanders said during a CBS debate last year.

The critical tweets come after two separate bombing attacks at an airport and subway in Brussels left 34 dead and some 114 people injured, with ISIS terrorists reportedly claiming responsibility.
