[efoods]Four police officers were shot dead yesterday in a cold-blooded ambush at a coffee shop on the edge of a US Air Force base in America’s Pacific Northwest.
The four uniformed officers, one of them a woman, were gunned down while working on their laptop computers as they prepared for work around 8:30 am local time. Their marked patrol cars were parked outside.
Police described one suspect as a black man with “scruffy” facial hair wearing a black coat and jeans, who fled on foot. Initial reports said there may also have been a second gunman who was white.
Road blocks were set up in the area as an intensive manhunt got underway. Officers took a police dog into a nearby apartment complex.
