Vitali Klitschko is a creature groomed by the U.S. establishment

Earlier this month when Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs Victoria Nuland and Geoffrey Pyatt, the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, were caught on tape discussing who should run Ukraine, Nuland cast aspersions on former boxer Vitali Klitschko.

“I don’t think Klitschko should go into the government. I don’t think it’s necessary. I don’t think it’s a good idea,” said Nuland. Instead, she suggested Arseniy Yatsenyuk be elevated to the position of leader, and for good reason, so far as the globalists are concerned: Yatsenyuk, a former Minister of the Economy and central banker in the vice president position at the National Bank of Ukraine under the shrewd opportunist Serhiy Tyhypko, is the obvious choice for the financial class on Wall Street.

Yatsenyuk exploited the Euromaidan movement to shed his “intellectual banker” image ahead of what is perceived as his impending appointment. “The former lawyer does not have the image of a tough politician and his support among the most militant wing of the protesters is uncertain. But he has taken an increasingly stubborn line in booming speeches on Independence Square in Kiev, the epicenter of the protest movement,” Agence France-Presse reported in late January.

In order to effectively project his street cred, Yatsenyuk sidled up to Oleh Tyahnybok, the leader of the fascist All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda party. Svoboda is known for its anti-semitic and anti-Polish stance. He is pro-NATO, although opposes merging with the European Union. His stance on Crimea, if activated, will undoubtedly produce friction with Russia: Tyahnybok wants to deprive the region of its autonomous status and Sevastopol, where a Russian naval fleet is based, of its special status.

Nuland — who is a dyed-in-the-wool neocon with a neocon mucky muck husband — does not have a problem with this. The Nuland family name was originally Nudelman. They are a family of Jewish immigrants who came to New York City from Russia. Nuland’s service to the state and its bankster overlords overrides any personal apprehension she may have to a dangerous clique of Jew hating neo-Nazis running Ukraine.

Ultimately, however, this does not matter. There is a rising star on the horizon, one who may be far more malleable and less risky than Yatsenyuk with his complicated allegiances to Ukraine’s radical ultra-nationalists: the aforementioned boxer Vitali Klitschko.

The political struggle for the fate of Ukraine has already proved far bloodier than any of his 47 bouts in the ring, but that didn’t stop former heavyweight boxing champ Vitali Klitschko from announcing his candidacy for the country’s presidency Tuesday,” reports NBC News. “The 6-foot-7 father of three, known as Dr. Ironfist for his achievements in the ring and the academic arena, has been a leading light in the opposition movement, which spent months protesting against Yanukovych’s decision to steer the country toward closer ties with Russia instead of a trade pact with the European Union.”

The Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reform of Vitali Klitschko, or UDAR for short, is a creature of the State Department and its corporate partners working to establish a toehold in a reformulated Ukraine. It really is too much to expect NBC News to report such bothersome details.

UDAR, until recently, counted on the American company PBN to handle its public relations. According to Alexander Savchenko, the company is tangled up with investment banksters and various front organizations “which have long attached themselves to post-Soviet countries like leeches in order to pump money out of them and into American banks using connections in the upper echelons of the government and big business.”

PBN was instrumental in throwing out the red carpet for Klitschko and his handlers. It established “ties with the White House, Congress, the State Department and the U.S. National Security Council. PBN set up a number of visits to Washington for the party leader and his assistants. It was this company that introduced Klitschko to Senator John McCain, as well as a number of State Department and National Security Council officials who react especially nervously to everything connected with Russia.”

PBN’s man in Ukraine is Myron Wasylyk, “a former State Department employee, member of the supervisory board of the U.S.-intelligence-linked Eurasia Foundation, and member of the supervisory board of the International Centre for Policy Studies, founded on the money of George Soros.” The Eurasia Foundation is a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) front. USAID, writes William Blum, has maintained “a close working relationship with the CIA, and Agency officers often operated abroad under USAID cover.”

Vitali Klitschko talks to the BBC.

Wasylyk’s connection to the neocon faction is by way of Fiona Hill, a highly placed official during the reign of George W. Bush. She was the national intelligence officer for Russia and Eurasia at the National Intelligence Council and maintained “close ties with the Ukrainian diaspora and considers herself a great friend of Ukraine (for some reason only the nationalist part),” writes Savchenko.

Eurasia specializes in “accelerated development and growth of private enterprise,” in short preparatory work for neoliberal looting and loan sharking. It operates in Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. “The Foundation promotes democracy and market economies in the Newly Independent States (NIS) of the former Soviet Union,” in other words it works to pry these nations out of Russia’s orbit and into the neoliberal economic fold where it prepares them for the standard round of financial rape and sovereignty destruction.

Due to shifting tides within the U.S. establishment, it now appears Vitali Klitschko has a new batch of coaches. The UDAR is collaborating with Greenberg Quinlan Rosner, an even larger consulting company than PBN. It is aligned to the Democrats who are, of course, a tag team working in tandem with Republicans and the global elite.

The corporate media plays its role by keeping all mention of these pertinent details firmly under the rug. How better to sell corporate and bankster fascism to witless Ukrainians and intellectually lazy Americans than to throw a former WBC and WBO heavyweight champion in the staged political ring? Soros and his partners at the State Department, his neocon collaborators, NED, USAID, etc., ad nauseam, are true masters of deception.

They will likely attempt to drag Crimea kicking a screaming into the globalist club, despite the strong pro-Russian sentiment in the autonomous parliamentary republic. This is a dangerous parlay, one that makes the endgame decisively terminating in thermonuclear war all the more likely.
