It all began at a traffic stop for speeding in the early morning hours in May of 2013.
A Roseville Police officer pulled over two men just off of Highway 36. The driver pulled over but the traffic stop became much more than routine, because the driver ran away from the car with the officer giving chase.
On the officer’s dash cam video you can hear him yell; “Get in the car, hey you stay put,” speaking to the passenger in the car who we know was 25-year-old Victor Hernandez.
