Tuesday, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told D.C. think tank Atlantic Council he’s “ready to talk anytime with North Korea.”
Meanwhile, a White House official refuted Tillerson’s remark, saying, “Given North Korea’s most recent missile test, clearly right now is not the time (for negotiations).”
Dr. Ron Paul and Executive Director of the Ron Paul Institute Daniel McAdams exchange theories on what is going on in Washington and try to figure out why Tillerson and the White House are not on the same page.
Back in October, a similar situation unfolded when President Trump pushed back against Tillerson’s attempts to negotiate, saying, “He is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man… Save your energy Rex, we’ll do what has to be done!”
