Warren County residents will get their Obamacare, but that means the local Red Cross, Meals on Wheels and a litany of other nonprofits will get less money.

County officials have historically donated some leftover county money to nonprofits every year, but the cost to implement Obamacare could do away from that, said County Executive John Pelham.

As Tennessee Watchdog reported in July, Warren is one of 14 counties in the Upper Cumberland region, where the upper parts of middle and eastern Tennessee meet. Most people regard it as one of the state’s poorest areas.
