President Obama is re-focusing U.S. efforts in Libya, amid reports that Moammar Gadhafi is struggling.

The president met Friday with the NATO Secretary General while his top national security adviser spoke with a prominent Libyan rebel.

Libya also figures to play a prominent role in Obama’s big Middle East speech on Thursday. And the president is scheduled to discuss the NATO military action in Libya with the leaders of a Great Britain and France during his Europe trip at the end of the month.
