UPDATE: According to Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights head Hossam Bahgat, all 26 of the detained Al Jazeera Misr staff have been released, with the exception of of the station’s director, Ayman Gaballa.

Al Jazeera is reporting that its live Egypt service (Al Jazeera Misr) has been taken off the air, along with several other TV stations.

From Al Jazeera’s statement:

“Reports from our correspondents say this happened during a live broadcast when security forces stormed the building and arrested the presenter, guests and producers.”

According to Reuters, the station was also stopped from broadcasting at a pro-Morsi rally, and the team trying to do was detained.
