Senator Bernie Sanders was booed at a rally in Philadelphia Monday after telling his supporters that Hillary Clinton must be elected.

“We have got to defeat Donald Trump and we have got to elect Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine,” Sanders said.

Despite attempting to garner support by denouncing Trump, the crowd continued to boo Sanders throughout the speech.

Following the release of nearly 20,000 internal DNC emails by Wikileaks last week, Sanders supporters became outraged after evidence revealed the DNC’s effort to derail his campaign in favor of Clinton.

Both House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, as well as former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who resigned in the fallout of the email scandal, were booed off stage on Monday as well.

According to Wikileaks, more DNC data is set to be released in the coming days.
