In response to warmongering by the Obama administration and its globalist masters, Russia has unveiled a new nuclear-capable missile that carries enough firepower to destroy an area the size of Texas.
The RS-28 Sarmat missile, code named “Satan 2” by NATO, has a maximum speed of 4.3 miles per second and has been designed to outmaneuver anti-missile systems.
With a maximum range of 6,213 miles, the Satan 2 would be capable of striking major cities on the American east and west coasts if the U.S. starts a war with Russia.
According to the Russian new network Zvezda, the RS-28 Sarmat missile is said to carry sixteen 40 megaton thermonuclear warheads capable of destroying the area of France.
The new missile is expected to enter service in 2018, and will replace Russia’s SS-18 “Satan” ICBM, which entered service during the Cold War in the 1970s.
“Not only are they too fast but they have got rid of the predictable flight path,” said Igor Sutyagin, an expert in Russian nuclear capability at the Royal United Services Institute in London. “It maneuvers all the way so it is terribly difficult for any missile defense system to shoot it down.”
In response to NATO troop deployments along the Russian border and aggressive posturing by American military officials, Russia has begun moving around troops and nuclear-capable missiles.
Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly accelerated plans to deploy nuclear-capable Iskander-M missiles from Saint Petersburg to Kaliningrad, an enclave situated between Lithuania and Poland, according to sources inside Estonia.
Approximately 40 million Russian civilians took part in an “evacuation drill” earlier this month in preparation for possible nuclear war with the United States.
Russia also recently launched joint military drills with Belarus, positioning 900 troops near the city of Brest along the border with Poland.
