U.S. Senator John Kerry is in Islamabad where he is expected to press Pakistan’s leaders to explain how al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden could live for years undetected in a city not far from the capital.
Shortly after arriving in the Pakistani capital late Sunday, Kerry met with the powerful army chief, General Ashfaq Kayani and, according to media reports, provided him with a list of U.S. demands regarding the fight against terrorism.
