While rioting in Milwaukee over the death of an armed black man shot by a black cop, Black Lives Matter ignored the 52 shot in nearby Chicago over the weekend, many of whom are African-American.
The violent unrest targeting whites in Milwaukee was somehow sparked by the death of Sylville K. Smith, 23, who reportedly aimed a gun at police before he was killed by an African-American cop.
At the same time Chicago, which is only 100 miles away, experienced one of its most violent weekends ever with 52 shot and at least nine dead, but Black Lives Matter doesn’t protest the deaths of Chicago blacks who make up a large portion of the 2,600 shot in Chicago this year alone.
“Three people were shot to death and at least seven others were wounded on the first night of the weekend, between 9 p.m. Friday and early Saturday,” the Chicago Tribune reported. “At least 16 people were shot Sunday into early Monday.”
“One of the victims was a 6-year-old girl who was shot in the arm around 9:10 p.m. outside her home in the 12300 block of South Perry Avenue.”
Unfortunately for the victims, they weren’t shot by police so apparently their lives don’t matter quite as much.
As Infowars reported this weekend, violent Milwaukee protestors were intentionally targeting whites for “beatdowns” as well as reporters who were simply covering the protests.
Video footage even shows angry rioters chanting “black power!” before running after whites who were driving by.
“Yeah they white!” states one of the rioters, prompting the mob to run towards a passing vehicle.
“Yeah they white, get their ass!” screams another.
