City officials are trying to reassure residents that their tap water is perfectly safe even though some water is coming out brown.
The fire hydrant in front of Elizabeth Bustillo’s Kingwood home Tuesday morning spewed that kind of water as did her sink and bathtub.

It’s water the city says is safe to bathe in and drink.
“You saw my tub? Would you give that to your kids or your family?” Bustillo said.
